VESCOA offers a five-year undergraduate course in Architecture (Bachelor in Architecture – B.Arch.), recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA) and the University of Mumbai and approved by government of Maharashtra.

Eligibility
As per the gazette of India date 23/03/2021 (COA Eligibility rules 21-22) 1. No Candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject. 2. The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA or obtained Non Zero Positive Score in JEE (Main) Paper II. 3. Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act. 4. Nata Entrance Exam: Qualifying in NATA is a mandatory requirement to gain admission into any Institution/University offering a B.Arch. degree program in the country. 5. The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA or JEE (Main) B.Arch.Syllabus

The course includes a practical training in Semester VIII in a professional office. At the end of the internship a viva-voce is conducted by external examiners of University of Mumbai. The course ends with a Design Dissertation in Semester X as a part of the University course structure. Apart from the mandatory courses several extra-curricular courses and activities are offered under Electives and College Projects.

- VESCOA strictly follow the norms of NO CAPITATION FEES as per VES Norms. We do not have Management Quota/ Institute level seats as all the 80 seats are surrendered (As pre VES Trust Norms) for Government admission and all admission are done through CAP round conducted by statutory Bodies.
- What is the procedure of VESCOA for Against Vacancy Seat after CAP round (if any vacancy seat arises)?
- VESCOA follows the SCET norms laid down for against vacancy seat in Information brochure published on SCET Cell Website.
- What is cut off percentage of VESCOA of Academic year 2019-20?
- 70 was cut off percentage of last year (Academic year 2020-21). But the cut off is not ascertain.
- Is there any reservation quota for Sindhi Minority?
- VESCOA is Sindhi Minority Institute as per the Government of Maharashtra norms, 51% seats are reserved for Sindhi Minority quota & 49% for Maharashtra state and All India seats will be filled up through Cap Round conducted by Government of Maharashtra State CET Cell.
- Whether Allotments of seats to Architectural institutions is done through NATA OR JEE?
- As per the Government of Maharashtra Norms admission to institutions are done by the SCET Cell. Highest marks in Either of Aptitude Test in considered for admission.
- What is the weightage to be given to marks obtained in NATA/JEE(Paper 2) and the qualifying examinations?
- As per the SCET CELL and Council of Architecture norms, the weightage is 50% marks obtained in NATA/ JEE (Paper 2) and 50% to marks obtained in qualifying examination will be considered for admission.

- College has well equipped infrastructure and Classroom facilities for overall development of the students.
- LABS – Carpentry Workshop, Surveying and Levelling Lab, Environmental Lab, Model Making, Services Lab, Material Museum with well equipped with all advance instruments for Hand On experience to the students. Laser cutting machine, Electrical Pottery Wheel, Jigsaw , Wood working Lathe Machine, Wood Sander Machine.

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Architecture.
They shall come into force for the academic session 2022-23 only as notified in the gazette on 11.08.2020 shall be in force.
(1) NO candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subject or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject.
2) The candidate needs to qualify an aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA (i.e JEE) or NATA conducted by Council of Architecture.

VESCOA undertakes admissions through centralised admission process through SCET CELL. The procedure and schedules for the admission process is strictly as per the SCET Cell Admission process.
STEP 1: Applicant must Register themselves for the CAP Rounds through STATE CET CELL.
Candidates who are eligible can apply for the centralized admission process through STATE CET CELL website.

STEP 2: Verification of Documents
Applicant has to get the documents verified from the nearest FC. Alternatively submit for E-scrutiny for online Verification to FC.
STEP 3:
Check on the SCET Cell website for display of provisional Merit list. If there is any discrepancy, then the applicant should contact the respective FC for corrections.
STEP 4:
Check the Final Merit List on SCET Cell website to know the Merit Rank and merit score.
STEP 5:
The candidate will have to fill up an online option form for choice of college in the SCET Cell website and submit.
STEP 6:
CAP Rounds will be conducted as per the schedule issued by SCET Cell.
Step 7:
Students who have been allotted & confirmed shall report to the college in the stipulated time along with necessary documents.

• Students who are allotted V.E.S. College of Architecture in State CET Cell CAP rounds OR Students applying for admission against Vacant seats are required to register personally at the college premises between 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM as per the schedule given on State CET Cell website. Candidate’s Physical presence is MANDATORY at the time of confirmation of admission.
• If a candidate is unable to produce original certificates at the time of his/her admission on account of admission already secured to some other institution, he or she shall produce a certificate/Retention certificate from the Head of the institution where he/she has already taken admission indicating that he/she has been admitted to a particular course in that institution on a particular date and hence original certificates have been retained in the institution. the candidate shall produce the attested copies of the certificates duly attested by the head of the concerned institution. Such candidates shall be required to pay the fees immediately at the time of admission and such candidates shall be permitted to submit the required original certificates within 02 working days after the date of payment of fees.
• Fees to be paid at the time of admission will be total amount (as mentioned in the fee structure for respective Academic year).
• EBC category – Students under General category with Annual Family Income bellow 8 Lakh & having Maharashtra State Domicile Certificate can apply for scholarship for Economically Weaker Section.
• Students under EBC / SC / ST / OBC / SBC / VJNT will have to apply for scholarship. If a student fails to apply for his/her scholarship application or if it is rejected by the scholarship department due to any reason, then the student will have to pay balance fees to the institute.

PROCEDURE DETAILS:
Candidates who wish to apply for vacant seats at the institute after SCET CAP Rounds shall follow the following steps for submitting their application at the institute.
1. Fill up “AGAINST VACANCY APPLCIATION FORM” here.
Interested candidate is requested to fill the forms available in the Institute website “Against Vacancy Application Form” by paying an application processing fees of Rs. 1000 + 18% GST i.e. Rs. 1180/-.
2. Submit the forms to the Institute along with the following documents.
a) Hard copy of the Application form Against Vacancy form.
b) Confirmation receipt by Facilitation Center (FC) and one set of self-attested photocopies of documents mentioned in FC confirmation receipt.
