Ar. Maria Simon

Maria Simon B.Arch , M.Arch (UD) Maria Simon is an Architect and urban design enthusiast with teaching experience in architecture and design education. She completed her Bachelor of Architecture from IES College of Architecture and pursued her M.Arch in Urban Design from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Her areas of academic interest include agricultural urbanism, sustainable urban development, market and street design, and historic conservation. During her postgraduate studies, she explored the relationship between urban growth, culture, and sustainable community development through her thesis on agricultural urbanism. In addition to academics, she has been involved in urban design consultancy projects focusing on landscape design and has also undertaken freelance interior design assignments. She is passionate about photography and visual storytelling, which further enhance her creative perspective and teaching approach.
