Ar. Minal Modak

Minal Modak, graduated from MES PiCA in 1999 (Mumbai University). He has also done a Certificate course on Islamic Asthetics from Janapravaha Institute, Mumbai. Formed a partnership firm in 2003, ‘minal + sonal designs’. As a team player has been associated with many firms/ institutes at various levels. Has worked with IIT design cell, S+PS, Ar. Sameep Padora, Ar. Sanyukta Mallick to name a few. Also did Reports and surveys for NGOs and Municipalities for a better city. His work and research material has been published in reputed journals. As a firm they have won competitions like MSRTC Bus Depot design at Nashik, Nursing school for Assam oil. He feels participating in design competitions keeps one intellectually fit. He has been teaching in various architecture schools across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai since 1999. He finds joy in teaching and imparting knowledge where he learns along with students as a team.
